Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp green onions, sliced thin
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cups soy sauce
  • 1 /2 tsp ground ginger
  • 5 tsp minced garlic or 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉
  • In a medium bowl combine the ground beef, panko, green onions, oyster sauce, garlic, egg, ginger paste, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Roll into 1 inch balls.
  • Set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.

Teriyaki Sauce

  • This one is really simple. Combine all the teriyaki ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat. Whisk until smooth and let it thicken. Cook for about 6-7 minutes until it has thickened. If the sauce is too thick add 1/2 cup water to thin it out.
  • Now add the meatballs and let them nice and coated. I let them simmer for a couple minutes then serve with jasmine rice and fresh green onions. (optional)
