Easy as Apple… Cider? It really is simple and so tasty!Â
This no mash version saves a few steps and then is tossed into a crock pot and cooked on high for 2 hours. You will need a juicer. It tastes like Fall in a glass! Â I love to serve warm with an extra dash of cinnamon, a cinnamon stick and some fresh apple slices or cherries. You can add citrus with an orange slice or even some whipped cream and caramel sauce for the kiddos.
Then cozy up on the couch with a fire and watch some spooky movies. For an adult drink you can add rum or brandy mmm. You can even add alcohol into the crock pot for the last 10 minutes. Serve at your next gathering. It works so well for the colder months and is quite unforgettable at parties. There are so many varieties of apples you can use as well. I like gala, red delicious and sometimes add granny smith. It is all up to you.Â
Cut into quarters, dispose of the seeds and stems.
Run the apples through a juicer. Add to the crock pot with the spices and other ingredients and in a short 2 hours you have delicious warm cider! If you want the cider quicker, you can simply warm the cider in a Dutch oven or soup pot for 30 minutes on med-low heat.Â
