Savory Biscuit Breakfast Pudding

Semi-homemade breakfast with buttermilk biscuits, bacon, jalapeno, cheddar, and egg!

This is such an easy dump and bake breakfast that I love to make for my family. The ingredients are versatile and in fact I have a sweet version you can find here- Biscuit Bluberry Breakfast Pudding

Not only is it delicious and easy but its something you can make ahead of time and eat throughout the week or for weekend brunch with guests.

Okay, let’s get started!

Ingredients:
  • 1 can Pillsbury grands buttermilk biscuits. Quarter the biscuits.
  • 4-6 strips of bacon cooked and chopped.
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese shredded or sliced thin
  • 1-2 tablespoons of jalapeno, chopped. Fresh or pickled.
  • 5 eggs, whisked.
  • 4 tablespoons butter, quartered.
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350̊ F.
  2. Spray a medium sized baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut the biscuits in quarters and add half to the dish. Next layer half of the bacon, butter, and cheese.
  5. Now add the remaining biscuits, butter, bacon, and jalapenos.
  6. Pour on the egg.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  9. ENJOY!
