Mozzarella Stuffed Turkey Meatballs

If you are a fan of my blog you have probably noticed by now that I like to make meatballs. In fact I love to make them!

They are so easy to prepare and the options of ingredients are endless. Today we will be making turkey meatballs. Ground turkey and beef of the same fat percentage are very similar in their calorie and protein contents. However, ground turkey is lower in saturated fat and high in vitamin B. Stuffing them with cheese is optional but I do recommend it every once in a while. I like to use these. Bel Gioioso Cherry size mozzarella balls.

You can use the whole ball but I like to cut them in half. Then stuff them in the meat mix and cover well.  You can bake or pan fry. Then serve with spaghetti noodles and your favorite marinara!
