I am a huge fan of simple snacks and this is exactly that!
This comes in handy on weekends or if unexpected guests pop in. They also make a great appetizer or game day grab. I think of these as a light or cheat version of the Jalapeno Popper. No frying or involved and much easier to throw together.
We will start by chopping 2 jalapenos and tossing them in a small bowl with 1 cup whipped cream cheese and 1/4 tsp of garlic powder.
Now using store bought flaky biscuits we will take one of the biscuits and you will see a seam on it, tear that apart to create 2 pieces.
Now fill with a heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mix
Now comes the sealing part. I like to use a ravioli stamp. You can find a link to the is exact one in my Amazon picks on the main page.
Bake and serve with grape jelly mixed with honey!
So yummy!
Lets get started
Jalapeno Cream Puffs
Ingredients
- 2 jalapenos, chopped
- 1 can flaky biscuits
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grape jelly
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Cut and 2 jalapenos, seeds removed and chopped.
- Add to a small bowl with cream cheese and garlic powder. Mix well.
- The biscuits will have crease or line where you can pull them apart. Do that to all the biscuits.
- Fill one side with a heaping spoonful of the cream cheese
- Seal the the ravioli stamp and discard remaining dough edges. I like to go around and give a little extra pinch for security. If you don't have a stamp just simply seal well with fingers by pinching or fork.
- Lay on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes
- Whisk the jelly with honey until smooth
- Serve and ENJOY!
