A very refreshing Korean style salad that I like to serve along side stir-fry dishes. You can also serve with grilled chicken, pork, or shrimp.
This salad has great blend of flavors that makes it anything but bland. I like to make the salad ahead of time and pour on the dressing right before serving. It is pretty versatile and you can add any veges or protein you would like.

Green salad with soy-chile dressing
This Korean style salad makes the perfect side dish or main with protein added.
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1/4 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Dressing
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 4 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
Instructions
- In a medium sized bowl, combine all the salad ingredients. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
- Whisk the dressing ingredients. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
- To serve, pour the dressing on top of the salad and toss… serve immediately.
