Green salad with soy-chile dressing

This Korean style salad makes the perfect side dish or main with protein added.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Dressing

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  • In a medium sized bowl, combine all the salad ingredients. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
  • Whisk the dressing ingredients. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
  • To serve, pour the dressing on top of the salad and toss... serve immediately.
