BISCUITS!
Who doesn’t love a good ol buttery biscuit?! They are so beautiful and I love how many different ways you can prepare them. They can be enjoyed alone or used in so many different dishes, sweet or savory.
Today we are going to use a simple cheat to make garlic buttery pull apart biscuits that are so incredibly delicious, no one would ever guess you started out with canned biscuits! I like to bake mine in a cast iron but you can also use a baking dish.
Look how gorgeous they are!
For the biscuits I use Pillsbury Grands flaky biscuits.
These work so well because of the layers, they create a airy buttery biscuit that puffs up when baked and has a chewy center. You can eat these as a appetizer, as a side with pasta, or one of my favorites is to use for biscuits and gravy!
I generally add 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese but if you are looking for a super cheese bread you can easily double it.
Ok let’s get started!
Easy Cheesy Pull-apart Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cans Grands flaky layers biscuits
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup cheese, shredded I use mozzarella
- 2 tbsp parsley, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Cut the biscuits in half
- Roll each half into a ball and place in a cast iron or baking dish. I place the 1st layer about 1/2 inch apart then just drop the rest on top and make them even.
- Melt the butter and mix the garlic powder in. Brush the balls with half of the butter mix and top with the cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden
- While they are still hot brush the biscuits with the remaining butter. Now top with the parsley.
- You can eat right out of the pan or move to a serving plate.
- Pull apart and ENJOY!
