Candy Brownies

What is better than brownies? Brownies with candy bars in them of course!

We just had our version of covid Halloween recently and that left us with waaay too much candy. After the kiddo took his share I put the rest on top of the fridge to keep it out of sight, because otherwise I would put on 20 pounds haha.

Well I had a major sweets craving and sometimes there is nothing better than a good ol chocolate brownie. mmmmm

The crunchy crust and soft gooey center? Yes please!

So like I mentioned above I had an abundance of candy including reeses peanut butter cups and twix bars. The mini versions, which are even more dangerous because the mind tricks you into thinking you can eat more and before you know it you are left with 20 empty wrappers and blacked out! Chocolate hangovers are a real thing people haha.

To use up the candy bars I decided to chop up the peanut butter cups add them to my chocolate brownie mix, which turned out to be a fabulous idea.

Then after I mixed it up, I spread it into the pan.

To finish I topped the batter with twix bars.

Bake it up and oh my it is a beauty!

Hungry yet?!!

Lets get started!
