Shaved chocolate , sprinkles, mini candy bars, Hershey kisses, fruit, or cookie crumbles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
In a large bowl mix together the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or kitchen aid. Mix until fluffy
Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix.
Now add part of the flour mixture and then milk. Keep adding the flour mix and milk until it is all combined. Fill the liners 3/4 full with the batter.
Now cook for 22/24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Set aside on a bakers rack to cool.
Now lets whip up the frosting
In a large bowl beat the butter until smooth, Now add half of the powdered sugar, half the cocoa, and milk. Mix until smooth. Next add the vanilla and the rest of the ingredients. Mix until smooth and the consistency of frosting.
Pipe or spread on the frosting to each cupcake.
Add sprinkles, chocolate, or any topping you desire!
