Heat the oven to 250° OR follow recommended cooking time on your hams instructions.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, add a small baking rack. Set the ham cut side down on top of the rack. Cover gently with foil.
Pour 1/2 cup of water into the baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour.
While the ham cooks, lets make the glaze. In a small bowl combine the apricot jam, sugar, Dijon, and hot sauce. Mix well.
Remove foil, brush the ham gently with some of the jam mixture then return to the oven. Cook for 15 minutes, then brush again, pop back in and cook 15 more minutes.
Check the temperature of the ham with a thermometer and it should read 145° If not, cook a bit longer.
Pull out ham when at correct temp, let rest for 10 minutes, then plate. Pour on any remaining glaze.
