Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a saucepan over med-high heat pour in 3 cups of broth and the wine.
  • Bring to a boil whisking continually. Slowly add the flour and continue to whisk until all the flour is incorporated.
  • Continue whisking, turn to medium heat. The liquid will start to thicken.
  • Add all of the seasoning and continue whisking until it has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Transfer to a gravy dish.
