Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with Grilled Pound Cake!

A 10 minute PERFECT dessert! Semi-homemade with store bought pound cake, grilled and topped with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Can you say YUMMM?!

Ingredients

  • store bought pound cake, cut into thick slices
  • mint chocolate chip ice cream Tillamook is my favorite!
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • To start, cut the pound cake into thick, 1 inch slices.
  • On a hot cooking surface, grill, griddle, cast iron pan, or even the toaster/oven cook the pound cake slices until golden brown. Don't over toast but we do want that lovely start of a crust forming. About 2 minutes on each side.
  • Ok and that's the end of the cooking part.
  • To assemble, plate the slice on a plate. Add a big scoop (or 2) of mint chocolate chip ice cream and top with chocolate syrup. THAT IS IT!
