Ingredients
1sheetpuff pastry
1/4cupsugar
1/4cupcinnamon
powdered sugar
Instructions
Sprinkle a workspace with powdered sugar, roll out into a rectangle with a rolling pin.
Sprinkle evenly with sugar and cinnamon
Roll gently from one end to the other.
Wrap carefully in parchment paper and put in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
After the roll has been in the freezer for 20 minutes remove and bring back to the powdered sugar workspace.
On the powered workspace, place the roll seam side down.
Using a sharp knife cut into 1/4-1/2- inch slices.
Now sprinkle more sugar on the workspace and onto the rolling pin, roll with a back-and-forth motion to create an elongated shape/cookie. Place the cookies on a baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Cool on a baker's rack.
Enjoy with coffee or tea or with dessert. Ice cream, fresh fruit, or dip in caramel or chocolate sauce.
