2tbsp Chipotle peppers in adobo, deseeded, and chopped small
1tbspcilantro, minced
1tspgarlic, minced
1/2tsponion salt
1tspblack pepper
4slicesmozzarella cheese
4favorite buns I like sesame seed
4pieces or romaine lettuce
1/4yellow onion, sliced thin
1-2avocados sliced
2sun--dried tomatoes, minced
2tbsplow fat sour cream
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and sun-dried tomato. Mix well and set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the turkey, adobo chipotle peppers, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands until well combined. Form into 4 even sized balls, then smash into patties, about a 1/2 inch thick.
Heat a pan on high. Drizzle with 1 tbsp. of olive oil. Add the patties to the pan and cook for 4 minutes. Flip and cook 4 minutes more. (Keep an eye on the patties, if they look to be cooking too quickly lower the heat a bit)
Next, add the cheese slices to each patty. Pour 1/4 cup water in the pan and cover with a lid. Let them steam for a minute or 2 until the cheese is ooey gooey and melted!
Remove and toast the buns. I like to add a little drizzle of olive oil on the inside of the bun and toast it on the hot pan/griddle
Now to assemble:Spread the tomato-cream mixture on the top and bottom bun. Next goes the romaine lettuce to bottom bun, then patty, onions, and avocado. and finish with a big ol bite!
