Heat 2 1/2 cups of water on high heat in a saucepan until boiling. Remove from the heat and add the honey. Mix until dissolved. Now add the sugar. Mix until it also has dissolved
Put the lavender in tea ball and let steep in the honey/sugar mix for 20-30 minutes. Depending on how strong of a lavender flavor you want to achieve. If you don't have a tea ball just add the lavender and strain out the blossoms. Discard the blossoms.
While the lavender is steeping lets make the berry blend.
Now in the blender add the strawberries and raspberries with 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup water, and puree.
In pitcher, add the lemon juice, Infusion mixture, berry mixture, and 2 1/2 cups of cold filtered water.
Put in the refrigerator until ready to use.
To serve, wet the rim of the glass and coat with sugar. You can put some on a small plate and roll the rim of the glass to coat. Now add ice to a glass, and pour the lemonade over. Garnish with a lavender and candied lemon peels, fresh mint, lemon slices or even lemon head candy is a fun one!
