Winter Champagne Mimosa

Mimosa
A fun mimosa cocktail with frozen orange juice ice cubes and edible glitter!

Mimosas became popular in the US during the 60’s. They consist of champagne (or other sparkling wine) and chilled citrus, usually orange juice.  It is named after the yellow mimosa plant- Acacia dealbata. There are so many different variations of mimosa cocktails and I love many of them. This mimosa is fun and easy to serve during the holidays or special occasions like Weddings or fancy brunch events. I like to freeze orange juice in ice cube trays. You can find so many different shapes on amazon. I chose bows for this one. After the ice cubes are frozen you can assemble the drink by simply pouring champagne over the cubes. To jazz it up some edible glitter in silver makes it so pretty and sparkly!

A fresh rosemary sprig completes the drink and makes such a beautiful presentation. Speaking of beauty, I have to share with you my favorite wine/champagne chiller. Seen here in the photo.

This fantastic chiller comes in so many colors (rose color pictured here) I love to use it at parties, at the beach, and on picnics. The Vinglacé wine & champagne chiller keeps your bottle cold without ice.  It’s made of stainless steel and vacuum insulated, so you don’t have to worry about condensation or warm wine.  Lightweight and easy to carry, you can enjoy your wine & champagne anywhere you go. It comes in a beautiful gift box too which makes the perfect gift for wine lovers!  I teamed up with Vinglacé and can offer free shipping with code: JENNIFERBRUMAGHIM
