Brownies just got elevated with whole Oreo cookies and marshmallow fluff toasted to perfection. These are a DREAM dessert!
If you are a smore lover these are a must try! We start by layering a baking dish with graham crackers. Next goes my tried-and-true brownie batter, and a rows of Oreo cookies!
We bake and let cool followed by a whole jar of Jet-Puffed marshmallow. Toasted, then sprinkled with chopped Oreo because obviously we need more cookies. Hee hee. I promise these won’t last long! Note- they are sticky and messy BUT worth every bite.
Okay, let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (Good quality)
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (ghirardelli dark chocolate is my favorite)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 1 jar of jet-puffed marshmallow
- 1 package of honey graham crackers
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare a 8×8 baking dish or medium baking dish, by lining the bottom with parchment paper.
- Line the bottom with the graham crackers. It doesn’t have to go to the edges. Just get most of the bottom of the pan covered.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl add the sugar and melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
- Now goes the melted chocolate. Mix well.
- To the bowl now goes the 2 eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Our next addition is the cocoa powder and flour. Mix thoroughly with a rubber spatula.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish. Spread over the crackers.
- Place the Oreos on top of the batter. Press down slightly.Â
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completly before moving to the next step.
- Once cool add the marshmallow. Spread over all of the brownies.Â
- Now if you have a torch CAREFULLY toast the top. If no torch put them in the oven on the broil setting and keep a close eye. We just want a golden brown toasted marshmallow.
- Top with chopped Oreos.
- Slice into 10-12 pieces.
- ENJOY!
