Pesto and Boursin Cheese Tortellini

Immerse yourself in the delightful flavors of this pesto and Boursin cheese tortellini dish, a culinary masterpiece that promises to be both quick and satisfying. Perfectly cooked tortellini are enveloped in creamy Boursin cheese, infused with the aromatic essence of pesto sauce, and finished with a generous sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1  9-ounce package cheese tortellini
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • 1 package of garlic and herb Boursin cheese
  • Fresh basil chopped for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Tortellini

  • In a large pan add the broth on medium heat. Pour in the tortellini and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  • In a large pan, add the Boursin cheese and stir until it melts completely, creating a creamy base.
  • Next, add the pesto sauce and toss to coat the tortellini evenly, ensuring each piece is infused with the rich, garlicky goodness of the sauce.

Step 3: Add Parmesan Cheese

Add 2/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the tortellini and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together thoroughly, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

For the final touch, garnish your dish with fresh basil leaves and any remaining Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while warm to enjoy the full spectrum of flavors in each bite.
