Ingredients

  • Dill pickle chips or spears (pat dry with a paper towel)
  • Flour (you can add spices if you’d like- salt, pepper, and chili powder)
  • Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil (for frying)

Zesty Dip

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp horseradish
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Prep the pickles: Make sure your pickle chips or spears are nice and dry. This helps the coating stick and ensures maximum crunch.
  2. Dredge: Coat each pickle first in flour, then dip into beaten egg, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry: Heat oil to 350°F. Carefully add pickles and fry until golden and crispy, 2–3 minutes per batch.
  4. Drain: Remove pickles and let them drain on paper towels to get rid of excess oil.
  5. Mix the dip: Combine mayo, horseradish, ketchup, Cajun seasoning, and dill in a bowl. Stir well and chill until serving.

Serving

Serve the pickles hot, fresh from the fryer, with a generous bowl of zesty dip. Dunk, crunch, repeat—and watch them disappear!
