Thai inspired flavors wrapped in a tortilla with a homemade ginger slaw and juicy chicken!
We love wraps in my home, and I am always trying new ideas to change them up. This was a last-minute idea, and it is now in our weekly rotation! It is simple and healthy.
The marinade is full of flavor and great to pop in the refrigerator for a few hours, meal prep/marinade overnight, or mix it up and cook right away. All up to you and how much time you have. I like to use boneless/skinless chicken breasts or thighs. They both work great.
Slaw-
This is the best part and cannot be skipped. The homemade ginger sauce is a delicious addition to the wrap. I even use it as a vegetable dip sometimes too. If you are short of time, you can simply buy a precut and ready to go bag of slaw that has cabbage and carrots already to go. We will be adding green onions, fresh cilantro, and mint! Sauté the chicken on the stovetop then wrap it all together with some sriracha. Wrap, toast until golden brown. A side of jasmine rice goes well, or you can add it into the wrap.
Okay let us get started!
