Taco night has never been the same in my home!
WARNING!
Once you make these, you will never buy store-bought again.
So easy and DELICIOUS! If you do not have a tortilla press, you can use a rolling pin or a heavy dish and press them.
These take a little more prep than corn but I promise they are worth the time.
Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
•3 cups AP flour or Cassava flour for gluten free
•1tsp baking powder
•1 tsp salt
•1/2 cup olive oil
•1 cup warm water (add more if needed)

•1/2 cup olive oil
•1 cup warm water (add more if needed)
Directions:
•In a mixer combine all the ingredients and mix for 3-5 minutes.
•Or by hand, mix in a large bowl and kneed for 2 minutes. If they are too dry add a bit more water.
•Roll into 16 balls, on a lightly floured surface.
•Cover balls with a tea towel for 15 to 30 minutes.
•Press in a tortilla press (or roll w rolling pin) till flat.
•Cook on med-high heat on a cast iron pan/griddle for 45 seconds, flip for 15-20 more and store in a tortilla holder or foil until ready to use.
ENJOY!
